In the aftermath of the club licensing purge that saw three teams axed, Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants AFC Leopards, who are among the teams that complied with the set requirements, have issued a statement through the club C.E.O. Ronald Namai, to the effect that the club will make an official announcement on the completed signings on Wednesday 11 January.
Commenting on the subject, Namai urged fans to be patient assuring them that good players have been signed as they will come to know in the official announcement.
"We have been working round the clock to sign good players ahead of the 2017 season, and we appeal to our fans to be patient as we will make an official announcement tomorrow(Wednesday). We are confident that we have picked the best people that will help in our league campaign this year," Namai stated.
The players that have been on Ingwe's radar and are likely to make the list are: Kakamega Homeboyz U20 center half Michael Kibwage and Mathare United duo of Robinson Kamura and Whyvonne Isuza.
Earlier Leopards confirmed the signing of Sofapaka U20 forward Ibrahim Mao after his stellar performance at the December edition of the KPL U20 tournament.
