Harambee Stars U17 showed that they mean business in the race to seal qualification for the 2019 AFCON U17 championships by dispatching their counterparts from Djibouti 9-0 in the two side's CECAFA region qualification match played on Friday 17 August at the Chamazi Sports Complex in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

Richdonald Steward and Mathew Mwendwa both grabbed hat ricks while Keith Imbali notched a brace with Nicholas Ochieng adding another to compound Djibouti to the tournaments heaviest loss thus far.

The win is Kenya's second after their opening day 4-0 win over South Sudan and propels Michael Amenga's charges to the top of Group B on goal difference having scored 13 goals with none conceded.

Stars will next face-off against rivals Uganda on Sunday 19 August at the Dar es Salaam National Stadium.
