All set for Aucho as he heads to Scotland

Immediate former Gor Mahia and Ugandan Cranes dependable midfielder Khalid Aucho has finally gotten his visa and everything is now in order to travel to Scotland for trials with Premiership side Aberdeen. 

According to Kawowo Sports, the highly-rated player will travel to Scotland on Thursday 21 July ahead of a two week assessment.

The player took to his official Facebook account to express his delight after receiving his VISA to Scotland.

“Finally have got it thanks lord for everything you’re the best God,” Aucho noted.


It is said Aberdeen sent an invitation to Gor Mahia for his assessment before kickoff of the 2016-17 Scottish campaign. In case that happens, he will follow into the footsteps of other East African players Victor Wanyama who featured for Celtic and David Obua (Hearts) as part of the East African contingent that have played in the Scottish Premier League.

According to Wikipedia, Aberdeen Football Club is a Scottish professional football club based in Aberdeen, Scotland. They compete in the Scottish Premiership and have never been relegated from the top division of the Scottish football league system since they were promoted in 1905. Aberdeen have won four Scottish league titles, seven Scottish Cups and six Scottish League Cups.
