Former Gor Mahia midfielder Khalid Aucho started his business with Baroka FC on a positive note - the team beating hosts Cape Town City 2-1 in a Saturday 15 October Premier Soccer League match played at Cape Town Stadium.

After a goalless draw in the first half, Mzwanele Mahashe opened the scoring on the 51st minute and two minutes later, Zimbabwean Cleopas Dube grabbed his maiden goal to double the scores.

Handed his debut

Given Mashikinya cut Baroka's celebration short with a goal seconds after Baroka had scored their second.

The Ugandan international Aucho – donning jersey 27, was handed his debut on the 50th minute replacing Chauke Mfundhisii. There was no playtime for his country mate Geoffrey Massa who was not on the match day squad.

A win for the PSL debutants was their second on the road lifting them to eighth spot on seven points from six games.

Polokwane City

They next host Polokwane City in a league match on Sunday 30 October but play Platinum Stars in a cup match on Sunday 23 October.
