Sony Sugar FC coach Salim Babu has lauded his players following a memorable 3-0 win over Western Stima in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Saturday 6th August.

Babu says the players showed character and followed instructions hence the win.

“We worked as a team and the morale was high from the onset. The boys were relaxed and maintained a cool head before the game. We knew we were playing a good side so we approached the match with caution and I am glad the team played according to instructions. We won by a good goal margin and it’s a good feeling to get maximum points away so my major focus right now is to play in the Top 8 Tournament next year.” Babu said

The win sees Sony move up the log to tenth position with 27 points from 21 matches and they welcome Chemelil Sugar FC in their next league match.
