Sofapaka head coach John Baraza has named his team for the clash against AFC Leopards as he seeks to continue with the fine run the team has registered in recent times, making at least three notable changes for the Wednesday 13June clash at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

Mathias Kigonya, who missed the win over Chemelil Sugar, is back in the team and starts in goal ahead of new signing Wycliffe Kasaya who did duty in the last game as Sofapaka beat Chemelil Sugar 1 – 0.

Aswani out

Former AFC Leopards forward Kepha Aswani is surprisingly missing in the entire 18 – man squad but Umaru Kasumba, who got injured in the game against Ulinzi Stars, forcing him to miss the Chemelil Sugar game, is back and starts the game.

Teddy Osok, impressive in the last two matches, is benched and his place taken by Brian Magonya.

Willis Ouma, another regular, is benched, with Baraza opting for George Maelo in the right side of defence while there is no slot for former AFC Leopards skipper Bernard Mangoli in the team.

Humphrey Okoti is also out but Elli Asieche, who has rediscovered his form this season gets another start in midfield.

Starting XI: Mathias Kigonya (GK), George Maelo, Rogers Aloro, Yusuf Mohamed, Moussa Omar, Mohamed Kilume, Elli Asieche, Magonya Brian, Kevin Kimani, Umaru Kasumba, Stephen Waruru.

Subs: Wycliffe Kasaya (GK), Ouma Willis, Ezekiel Okare, Teddy Osok, Michael Oduor, Edmond Kwanya, Timothy Luda.
