The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) week 24 affair between hosts Sony Sugar FC and AFC Leopards that was slated for Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium on Wednesday 13 September has been relocated to the the Kericho Green Stadium, the KPL has confirmed.
The venue change however doesn’t affect the 2pm EAT scheduled kickoff, with the match still scheduled to be aired live by the league’s official broadcaster Bamba Sports.

Ulinzi v Sofapaka
The change will also affect the Ulinzi Stars versus Sofapaka game which was slated for Afraha on the same day with the match also shifted to the Kericho Green Stadium, implying the stadium will host a KPL double header for the first time ever.
The changes have been necessitated by the unavailability of the Afraha Stadium as stated by KPL in a communique on Monday 11 September.
The four teams recorded mixed results in week 23 of league action with Sony Sugar overcoming Tusker FC 2-0, while AFC Leopards beat Zoo FC 3-1 at the Kericho Green Stadium.
Ulinzi Stars fresh from their triumph in the East African Military Games were held to a goalless draw by Muhoroni Youth as Sofapaka put four past Chemelil Sugar FC in their 4-1 win.
