The change will also affect the Ulinzi Stars versus Sofapaka game which was slated for Afraha on the same day with the match also shifted to the Kericho Green Stadium, implying the stadium will host a KPL double header for the first time ever.

The changes have been necessitated by the unavailability of the Afraha Stadium as stated by KPL in a communique on Monday 11 September.
