FKF set to host five-day women football development course in Nairobi

In yet another bold move aimed at growing women football in the country, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in line with the FIFA Grassroot Women Football Development Project will host a basic coaching course targeting stakeholders in women football from Thursday 13 - Monday 17 December at Utalii Hotel in Nairobi.

The FKF Vice President Doris Petra will officially commission the start of the course at 2pm EAT, with a target group of 40 expected to benefit from the course.

FKF will cater for the participants' accommodation, transport and course materials across the days of the course with the participants set to leave on Tuesday 18 December.

In line with the course, the federation called on a number of its branches to send representatives for the same.

Following the communication sent earlier regarding the FIFA Grassroots Women Football Development Project, we are pleased to inform you that we shall be conducting a basic coaching course from December 13th – 17th 2018 at Utalii Hotel in Nairobi.

The course will attract forty (40) participants drawn from the schools that were earlier identified with the help of the Women Representatives. In view of this we would like to request Nairobi East, Nairobi West, Mount Kenya, Aberdares, Southern, Lower Eastern and Upper Eastern to send five (5) representatives each for the course. In addition we shall give HODI from Marsabit five (5) slots. Participants are expected to report to the hotel on December 12th by 5.00pm and shall depart on December 18th December 2018. Please note that FKF shall cater for the participants' full board accommodation, transport reimbursement and course materials.
