FUFA unveils new Uganda Cranes, Crested Cranes' new jersey

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) on Wednesday10 October revealed Uganda Cranes and Crested Cranes new jersey in an event held at the Mandela National Stadium. 

The kit designed by Umar Mukasa are manufactured by Mafro Sports. All the kits have a V-neck design and have three national flag colours - black, yellow and red in an ivory shaped strip.

Shorts

Shorts are in black and white in colours while the stockings will be in black, red and yellow colours. Commenting on the new design, FUFA President Moses Magogo said:

“This is another occasion that we come here to complete what we promised. The manufacturer for the Uganda Cranes new kit is Mafro. We would like to thank the manufacturer for the work well done. We are in very close talks with the kit sponsor.”

Uganda Cranes keeper Dennis Onyango has described the jersey a wonderful design and he believes it will be a motivation ahead of the upcoming matches.

“This is a wonderful jersey. It will surely motivate us to play better in the upcoming matches and we pray that we start off well with victories in the new jersey. We shall work hard as well to achieve it” Onyango told the media in an interview.

The designer Mukasa walks away with a cash reward of Ugshs 2.5M and will have an annual free access to all Uganda Cranes home games. The new kit will be used during Uganda's clash against Lesotho set for Nelson Mandela Stadium on Saturday 13 October.
