Harambee Starlets forward Esse Akida featured in her third game on the trot for Ironi Ramat HaSharon but was unlucky as her side fell 2-1 to Maccabi Hollon in the Ligat Al Women (Israel women top flight league) clash staged at the Yankele Grundman Stadium on Thursday 15 November.
Akida amassed the full minutes having featured in all of her side's league games since the start of the league; the club having recorded a win and a draw in their last two games.
In her debut, Akida was withdrawn in the 80th minute with her side recording a 2-0 win over Maccabi Kiryat. The former Spedag FC forward helped her side to a 2-2 draw in their round two clash against leaders ASA Tel Aviv.
After three rounds of games, HaSharon find themselves in position four with four points with Hollon having climbed to position two with six points.
Akida will hope she can have more minutes and help her side change their fortunes when they visit Hopoel Be’er Sheeva in week four of the league action on Thursday 22 November; the forward having been predominantly used as a right back in the three games.
