Gor Mahia, Mathare United clash rescheduled

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) week eight clash between hosts Gor Mahia and Mathare United has been rescheduled according to a communique from the league body.

The game which was scheduled for Saturday 29 April will now be played a day later- a move that sees the game moved from its initial kick off time of 3pm EAT to 4pm with the venue remaining the same; KPL citing double header as the main reason that instigated the change.

On the same breath, the move will see the clash pitting hosts Thika United and Western Stima moved to 2pm EAT; this clash having been scheduled on Sunday 30 April at the Thika Sub County Stadium.

Venue

There is also a change of venue and time of the clash involving league newbies Nakumatt FC and Kakamega Homeboyz. The clash had been earlier scheduled to take place at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos on Monday 1 May at 2pm EAT but will now be moved to Thika Sub County Stadium with the Kick off slated for 3pm EAT.

Sofapaka will play for a second time this season at Jericho’s Camp Toyoyo after their clash against Bandari FC which had been earlier scheduled for the Thika Sub County Stadium moved to the ground. The earlier kick off time of 4:15pm EAT has now been brought forward to 3pm EAT.
