GOtv Shield: Gor Mahia books Bandari date as AFC Leopards face Stima

After brushing off Nairobi Water FC in Round 62 of theGOtv Shield, Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants Gor Mahia will host fellow KPL rivals and 2015 Champions Bandari FC in Round 32 of the competition; the dates set for the weekend of 7-8 July.

Bandari saw off Uweza FC in the same round but will now have to find a way past a Gor Mahia side they are yet to beat in their last three encounters in all competitions.

The same round will see AFC Leopards who were the big winners in Round 62, where they put 15 past Dero FC, come up against National Super League (NSL) side Nairobi Stima for a place in Round 16; defending Champions Tusker FC who emphatically saw off SS Assad booking a date against Palos FC.

National Super League

In an all NSL affair, Ken Kenyatta’s Ushuru FC will be up against Vihiga United with both teams fighting for a place in the KPL come 2018 with Wazito FC facing KCB. Kakamega Homeboyz will be up against Zetech University, Bidco United booking a date with RainforestButterfly will travel to Mwatate to face Mwatate United, Karatina Homeboyz entertaining GFE 105.

KPL side Naumatt FC has a date with NSL side Modern Coast Rangers, Ulinzi Stars battling it out with Ulinzi Stars in an all KPL affair, Nzoia United facing Bajaji with Eldoret Youth, who eliminated Nauru Al Stars in the Round of 62 booking a date with Young Divers for a place in the last 16.

Sofapaka vs Western Stima

Sam Ssimbwa’s Sofapaka FC will come against Henry Omino’s Western Stima with Kariobangi Sharks who narrowly beat Bungoma All Stars in round 62 booking a date with Kenpoly. Savannah Cement will face Taqwa FC.
