Scoring is clearly not a problem for Lilly Awuor who has been on the score sheet in every game she has played in as the Azam sponsored Tanzania Women Premier League(TWPL) entered round three.

Awuor netted a brace to help her club Kigoma Sisters trounce bitter rivals Mwanza FC 2-0 in a closely contested derby match played at the Tanganyika stadium on Monday 28 November.

Brace

Lilly scored the first goal for Sisters in the 26th minute, before completing her brace just before the break to put the match to bed. The 19-year-old tops the top goal scorers' chart with seven goals in three matches, followed by Tanzanian international Mwanahamisi Omar who has scored four goals in three games.

Kigoma Sisters who had one of their best forwards Shelda Boniface leave the club to join the military, registered their third win of the season and will be keen not to taint their impressive run.

Other results

Meanwhile in the other league matches JKT FC edged Mburahati 5-2, Singida registered a 1-1 draw against Iringa while Afu Jumatano Marsh beat Bukoba 5-1.
