Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side, Western Stima has signed 11 players as it continues with preparations for the new season that kicks off on Saturday 8 December.
The Kisumu based side returned to the top flight after a season in the second tier, having finished top there and is intensifying preparations for the new campaign.
Among the new players is winger Baron Oketch who returns to the club he left in June 2016. Oketch left for Gor and went on to play for Ulinzi Stars, Bandari and Ushuru FC.
Others include, Gor Mahia Youth team forward Ian Otieno, Posta Rangers defender, Luke Ochieng, Martin Oduor a midfielder from St. Joseph's FC, striker Henry Onyango from Kibera Black Stars and Kenya Police FC keeper Anthony Obonyo.
Vincent Omumbo And Kennedy Otieno return to the club from Tusker and Posta Rangers respectively while Samuel Olare joins from Sony Sugar. Vincent Odongo has been shipped in from Nairobi Stima and completing the list is Chemelil Sugar captain Edwin Omondi.
