Ushuru FC Head Coach Ken Kenyatta believes that his side is the team to watch in this year’s National Super League (NSL).
The taxmen were relegated from the top flight in 2016 and have found their way in the second tier way challenging with varying results. On Friday 14 April, they battled to a 1-1 draw with new boys Golden Field Evengelism (GFE) at the Camp Toyoyo grounds.
“We played a good game but from the beginning I didn’t know how GFE plays and the characters they have so that I could train for them but I am happy fighting from a goal down to a draw.
“You know the team to beat is Ushuru. Everyone is training for Ushuru and we have to take our chances too. We have to win matches inconsiderate of the opponents’ motives. We are going to prepare to win our next match,” he said.
Ushuru have collected 12 points from seven games and sit fifth on the table.
