Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr has refuted claims from a section of the media that he is opposed to any possible return of defender Musa Mohammed and midfielder Kenneth Muguna to the club.
Kerr, speaking to Soka said he was misquoted and has since reached the Nkana FC defender to clarify the matter while urging the media to always report the truth on matters pertaining to him and the club.
“What was noted that I had closed the door for Musa and Muguna isn’t true. I have listened to the clip more than five times and even called the concerned parties and they agree that I didn’t say something of that sort. The headlines were misleading and I think many took the stories from the headline without getting the gist of the story.
“I have a healthy relationship with Musa. He is a player I respect and I have called him and we have no issues at all as some of you (media) want to put it. I know he was agitated from what he had read from the tabloids but after we talked everything is well,” Kerr stated.
Kerr is currently preparing the team ahead of their next league fixture is against Thika United slated for Sunday 16 September.
The team is expected to travel to the UK to face English Premier League side Everton FC on Tuesday 6 November.
