Koth Biro: Headquarter off to a flying start as South C, Puretto share spoils

Headquarter FC started their 2017 Koth Biro campaign on a high, registering a 2-0 win over Mantale FC in a Group B match staged at the Ziwani Grounds on Tuesday 21 November.

After a goalless first stanza, youngster Derrick Otanga netted the opener in the 63rd minute before completing his brace deep in stoppage time to ensure the Embakasi side picked maximum points.

South C 1-1 Puretto

In another encounter played at the same venue, debutants South C FC played out to a 1-1 draw against Puretto.

South C took the lead in the 12th minute through a Martin Mutua strike. Andrew Juma however restored parity in the 67th minute to ensure Puretto picked a share of the spoils.

Headquater now lead the pack in Group B with three points, Puretto and South C have a point apiece while Mantale are yet to register a point in the tournament.
