KPL 2017: Camp Toyoyo among venues for round 6 matches

Jericho based Camp Toyoyo grounds is among the venues for the upcoming Kenyan Premier League (KPL) matches set to usher in round 6 of the 2017 campaign.

Toyoyo will host the match pitting 2009 champions Sofapaka and Kakamega Homeboyz in one of the six matches scheduled for Saturday 22 April.


In other Saturday fixtures, Posta Rangers will welcome Kariobangi Sharks in the first of the two matches at Afraha Stadium. The second clash will see champions Tusker FC play league leaders Gor Mahia from 4.15pm EAT.

Elsewhere, Muhoroni Youth will host Sony Sugar at Muhoroni Stadium, Nakumatt versus Western Stima at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos and Zoo Kericho to visit Nzoia Sugar at Sudi Stadium, all for 3pm EAT kickoff.

On Sunday 23 April, two games will be played; Thika United versus AFC Leopards at Thika Stadium with Ulinzi Stars welcoming Mathare United at Afraha, both matches to kickoff at 3pm EAT.

Midweek matches

The Soldiers are set to play Western Stima on Wednesday 19 April in a rescheduled fixture while on Friday 21 April, Chemelil Sugar will test their guns against Paul Nkata coached Bandari FC.
