KPL 2018 Fixtures: Gor Mahia to begin title defence against Nakumatt

The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) officials have already started plans for the 2018 season with the body releasing fixtures to the effect; the roster rolled out on Monday 4 December.

The curtain raiser of the season which is the Dstv Cup will see perennial adversaries Gor Mahia taking on AFC Leopards at the MISC Kasarani on 28 January; both having won the league and the GOTv Shield respectively.

After the curtain raiser, Gor Mahia will begin their title defence with a tie against Nakumatt FC at the same ground when the league commences on the weekend of 3-4 February. On the same day that6 Gor Mahia will be taking on Nakumatt on Saturday 3 February, Ulinzi Stars will be hosting Zoo KERICHO AT THE Afraha Grounds with Chemelil Sugar FC entertaining 2016 league Champions Tusker FC at their Chemelil Complex Backyard.

Nzoia Sugar FC

Nzoia Sugar FC will be taking on Kariobangi Sharks on the same Saturday with league newbies Vihiga United.

On Sunday 4 February, Sofapaka FC will be hosting Bandari FC at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos with Posta Rangers entertaining AFC Leopards at the same venue from 4:15pm EAT. Another newbie in Wazito FC will open their KPL campaign with a clash against Sony Sugar at the Thika Sub County Stadium with Thika United or Ushuru FC, who are to be involved in a playoff taking on Kakamega Homeboyz at the same ground.
