The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) moved their matches to a later and unspecified date and under the same breath Kakamega Homeboyz and Tusker FC defenders Collins Sivachi and Charles Momanyi, will have to wait on the sidelines a little longer to serve their respective bans after accumulating five yellow cards in the past matches.
Momanyi was supposed to sit out of their round 21 matches against Zoo Kericho while Shivachi was set to miss a Kariobangi Sharks tie; but that has changed with the duo set to miss their next matches against Bandari and AFC Leopards in that order according to a communication sent out by KPL.
"Following the amendment of the remaining 2017 Premier League season fixtures, please note that Charles Momanyi (Kakamega Homeboyz FC) and Collins Shivachi (Tusker FC) will now serve their one-match bans during the Round 22 matches against Bandari and AFC Leopards respectively, and not the Round 21 matches against Zoo and Kariobangi Sharks as had earlier been informed,” read the official communication from KPL.

KPL clubs have had to put up with a fortnight’s break due to the current countrywide political situation. With calm returning, the next fixtures could go on as planned while clubs await the communication on dates for the catch up matches.
