Bandari FC have traveled to Zanzibar where they will pitch camp for four days as they continue with their pre-season preparations. The team will be in Zanzibar between Thursday 8 and 13 November.
The Mombasa based side is expected to feature in two friendly matches against yet to be identified sides and coach Bernard Mwalala believes his team will benefit from the tour.
"I think it's good for the boys because we are going to prepare in a different environment and I believe we will gain much from it. We are not going out there to have fun, we are going to train. We will have two training sessions a day plus two friendly matches," he said.
The Mombasa based side has so far made one signing. Rookie St. Anthony's Secondary School utility man Moses Mudavadi has joined the side on a long-term deal while goalkeeper Joseph Okoth has left the side for KCB.
The team is expected to rope in two goalkeepers, a central defender and two forwards before the transfer window closes in January.
Bandari finished second in the Kenyan Premier League in 2018.
