Kakamega Homeboyz will recruit six more new players, chairman Cleophas Shimanyula has revealed.

The team has already signed four players to beef up the team ahead of a rigorous 2018-19 campaign.

The new players are Sosthenes Idah from Thika United, Mathias Kigonya from Sofapaka, Nzoia Sugar duo of Luke Namanda and David Odhiambo.

Chairman Shimanyula now says that his side is closing in on six more players.

Four signed

"So far we have signed four players. We have signed Namanda, David, Sosthenes and Kigonya. We are looking to sign six more players to take the number to ten.

"We want to have a good team and that's why we are prioritizing quality this transfer window. Our opponents should expect a very strong Homeboyz team next season," he said.

Homeboyz is also expected to drop more players before the season kicks off.
