Former Kariobangi Sharks talisman Masud Juma has ended his seven month sojourn with South African outfit Cape Town City FC, according to a post on his official Facebook handle.
Masud is now a free agent, his post comes just a day to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) 2018-19 campaign kickoff with Cape Town set to play Supersport United on Saturday 4 August.
He joined Cape Town City during the mid season of the 2017-2018 PSL season after a stellar 2017 campaign with Sharks that saw him clinch the golden boot award with 17 league goals. He now joins the long list of Kenyan players who have failed to impress down south with the likes of Eugene Asike, Clifton Miheso, Joseph Okumu, Ali Abondo, Paul Were and Francis Kahata not lasting more than two season in their respective clubs.
The Facebook post read, "I have terminated my contract with Cape Town City FC, I'm a free agent!!!."
