Harambee Stars striker Maud Juma netted on his UAE debut, helping his side Dibba Al Fujairah to a 3-1 win over Al Dhafra in the country’s top-flight clash staged at the Al-Fujairah Stadium on Thursday 27 September.
Visitors Dhafra opened the scoring proceedings in the 22nd minute through Saeed Al Kathiri but the hosts responded immediately with Yasen Al Bakhet restoring parity a minute later as the game headed into the half time break with no one having the better of the other.
Juma was to put the hosts into the lead in the 64th minute following a sublime assist from the first goal scorer Bakhet, who went on to score his second and the hosts' third goal in the 67th minute. Juma was to be replaced by Khalil Al Darmaki ten minutes from time.
Juma is barely a week old at the club after signing officially for the team on Saturday 22 September after spending seven weeks without a club since parting ways with South African topflight club Cape Town City FC; a club he joined form Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Kariobangi Sharks.

Before Juma’s arrival, Dibba had lost all their first three games and were placed second from last on the Arabian Gulf Table with Dhafra sitting at the foot of the log by the virture of having an inferior goal difference. Next for Masud and team will be an away trip against Al Nasr who are yet to record any win this season on Thursday 4 October.
