Kenyan Premier League side side, Mathare United has confirmed that it has parted ways with two of its players. 

 The two are left-back Mike Simiyu and winger Samuel Ndung'u. The two joined the SlumBoys before the start of 2018 season from Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards respectively.

 Mathare United CEO Jectone Obure has confirmed the duo's departure and thanked them for their service to the club.

 "I can confirm that we have parted ways with Samwel Ndung'u and Michael Simiyu on mutual consent. We had discussions with them and agreed to part ways. We thank the two players for their services to the club and wish them the very best for the future," he said.

Transfer business 

 On his team's transfer business, Obure disclosed that they are in talks with some players who will officially be unveiled next week. 

 "We are finalizing some deals and we will make them official next week. The technical bench identified players we needed and we are now in the negotiation stage," he added. 

Among players expected to join the side is Thika United midfielder, James Kinyanjui and Posta Rangers keeper Levis Opiyo.
