In the clash, hosted by Rangers, Mwai will do with assistance from Samuel Kuria and Boniface Gikonyo as the first and second assistant referees respectively while Josiah Awiti will serve as the fourth official.

Third meeting

This will be the third meeting between the two sides this season and Posta Rangers, though heading to the game heavily as underdogs, will be hoping to stage an upset, after losing 0 – 5 to Gor Mahia in the first leg at the same venue then falling 1 – 3 to Gor Mahia in the SportPesa Shield round of 16 clash staged at Moi International Sports Center (MIDC) Kasarani.

Both teams head to the game on the back of losses inflicted by Bandari FC. The Dockers beat Rangers 3 – 1 on Saturday 4 August and followed that up with a 2 – 1 win over Gor Mahia on Tuesday 7 August in what was also the first loss of the season for Gor Mahia.
