A lone goal from former Agro Chemicals player Jerome Baraka in the 53rd minute is all that Nakuru AllStars needed to beat KCB 1-0 in a rescheduled National Super League (NSL) clash played at the Afraha Stadium on Wednesday 12 April.
Up until the game, KCB carried a four game win less check in the league and stood as the only team not to have suffered defeat from the lot of 19-teams.
The win was the second straight for the hosts who came to the game on the high of a 4-1 drubbing of MOSCA on Sunday, and it sends the team seven places up, from 12th to fifth with eleven points, two away from the top. KCB on their part dropped one down, from eighth to ninth with ten points.
AllStars ended the game with ten men as Dennis Nandwa was slapped with a red card in the 84th minute for an unacceptable challenge on a KCB player.
Vihiga United 0 Nairobi Stima 0
In another catch up game played at Mumias Complex, travelling Nairobi Stima forced the hosts to a barren draw for their first shared spoils on the road this season.
Despite the stalemate, Vihiga improved upwards to sit right behind GFE 105 on goal difference. Both are on 13 points.
Further game will activate the league during the Easter weekend starting Friday 14 April.
