After registering a 3-0 loss in the hands of Vihiga United in a National Super League (NSL) match staged at Camp Toyoyo on Wednesday 19 April; Kibera Black Stars Coach Godfrey Oduor has made his intentions of boosting the goalkeeping department clear despite commending his team's general performance.

Commenting on the team’s performance after the loss,as he pointed fingers on goalkeeping as the weakest link, Oduor also cited that his forwards need to be more clinical in front of goal and bury the created chances.

Goalkeeping

“I would like to commend the players for the good performance they have put up despite conceding three goals. We have noticed our weak point which is goalkeeping and we plan on boosting the department in June. It is demoralizing and disappointing to see how the boys are playing and how we are conceding goals. We will in the meantime work with the available goalkeepers in training but it's an area I will look to strengthen in future. We have also noticed that our attackers do not bury their chances and now the plan is to work on our finishing as well,” he said.

The Kibera side will be looking to redeem themselves when they take on Bidco in their next NSL encounter, on Monday 24 April.
