Nine matches will be played across different venues as the National Super League (NSL) enters Round 14 with the highlight of the weekend being the Kenya Police vs Administration Police match at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Saturday afternoon.
Police FC have been a pale shadow of themselves lately and will be looking to bounce back from their two match winless streak. AP on the other hand too have had their share of troubles despite a fine start and will be looking to mend things according to Assistant Coach Dave Ongiri.
"Our form has dipped lately but we hope things will be different on Saturday. It is a derby and we have prepared well for it. We are however going to miss 3 key players; Herbert Okoth (defender), Nicholas Aketch (midfielder) and Abbass Abdulkarim (striker) who have gone for paramilitary training," he told Soka.
Police on the other hand have been boosted by the return of two key players who missed their last league match, a 0-2 loss to Ushuru and coach Omondi Korea believes they will be crucial in helping his side secure a win.
"We have prepared well and I believe we will post a positive result this time. Kevin Ade Omondi and Kevin Kwasila are back and that is big boost. Our strategy will be to avoid conceding early on as that has been our main weakness. We have to be very resolute in our defending," he said.
