NSL Roundup: KCB cages Police as City Stars outshine AllStars

Six matches were played in the FKF National Super League (NSL) on Wednesday 29 March across the country. KCB FC and FC Talanta were among teams that registered wins in their respective fixtures.

Starting off with the triple header at Afraha Stadium, the bankers, KCB thumped hosts Police FC 2 – 0 courtesy of strikes from former Nakuru AllStars winger Kennedy Owino and ex-Ligi Ndogo man Brian Yator who netted on the 5th and 13th minutes in that order.

Naivasha

In the second match, St. Joseph and Ushuru FC shared spoils of a one-all draw. Juma Hamisi broke the deadlock five minutes to the break before former Sofapaka, Nakuru AllStars and Muhoroni Youth forward Lwamba Bebeto equalized on the 65th minute.

The third encounter saw City Stars outsmart Nakuru AllStars 3-1. Jacob Onyango opened the scoring on the 25th minute and four minutes later,  Peter Amani restored parity. Khalid Ali restored the visitors lead on the 35th minute before Onyango completed his brace in the dying moments. 

Just a couple of kilometres away in Naivasha, Nairobi Stima and Administration Police settled for a 1-1 stalemate. George Otieno gave AP the lead on the 22nd minute but Joseph Adrico brought the tie level oin the 35th minute.

Elsewhere at Camp Toyoyo grounds, FC Talanta recorded a 2-0 win over Kibera Black Stars thanks to goals from Ronny Katumanga and Erick Kapaito before Vihiga United had a similar score line in their favour against hosts Wazito FC.
