NSL side to face Gor, Leopards in friendly games

National Super League side, Wazito FC has lined up two friendly matches against Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants, Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards as preparations for the 2018/19 campaign intensifies. 

The Muhammad Ahmed coached side will take on Gor Mahia on Tuesday 20 November starting from 7pm EAT before taking on AFC Leopards on Wednesday 21 November starting 1pm EAT. Both matches will be played at Camp Toyoyo. 

Wazito chairman Solomon Alubala has confirmed the two friendly matches which he believes will be of great importance to his team. 

"I can confirm that we will play Gor and AFC Leopards on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. These are two good teams and I believe that my team will gain something from the two games, they are important matches," he said.

New players 

Wazito will be keen on bouncing back to the Kenyan Premier League following their relegation at the end of last season. 

The team has been active in the current transfer window, acquiring some quality, experienced players majorly from Kenyan Premier League sides. Among the new faces at the side include Dennis Gicheru, Anthony Gathu, Kasim Mwinyi, Collins Neto, Washington Munene, Joe Waithira, Wilson Anekeya among others.
