Matchday 23 in the National Super League saw a string of draws played out with six of the seven scheduled midweek fixtures ending in stalemates. The round's top attraction between Nairobi Stima and Ushuru FC saw the two teams battle to a share of the spoils with a one-all draw as log leaders Vihiga United also dropped crucial points against Modern Coast Rangers as the race for promotion heats up.

Nairobi Stima 1-1 Ushuru FC

Third placed Stima shared spoils with second placed Ushuru in Karuturi, the two teams dropping crucial points in their quest to unseat log leaders Vihiga United. After a goalless first half Ushuru were the first to draw first blood after inform striker Benson Amianda scored his 10th goal of the season in the 61st minute. Ushuru’s lead lasted for only five minutes as Partrick Ndwiga equalized to ensure a share of the spoils. With the
point both teams remain level on points with 47 each.

Nakuru Allstars 1-1 Talanta FC

Peter Thiongo’s late header for Nakuru Allstars cancelled Thomas Wainaina’s first half header to ensure atleast a point for the Nakuru based club. The results sees the teams separated still by a single point with Talanta moving up to 30 points while Nakuru have 29.

Agro-Chemical 1-1 City Stars

Agro had to come from behind to salvage a point against visiting City Stars in Chemelil. Arthur Museve had given the City boys the lead in the first half only for his effort to be cancelled out late in the second by Agro’s Brian Ochieng who equalized for the home side in the 82nd minute. The point sees City Stars move to 33 points, one above seventh placed Palos FC. Agro on the other hand remain in the relegation places with 17 points.
