Nairobi Stima, who have amassed a 17 game unbeaten run (the best in the division) and lie in fourth place with 46 points, will play host to second on the log Ushuru FC who have a 16 game unbeaten streak of their own at the Karuturi grounds on Sunday 12.

Both teams are only separated by six points and have not lost a league match since March of this year. Coincidentally, the last league loss for Stima came against Ushuru where they were humbled 3-1 on match day 7 at the Camp Toyoyo grounds.

On that day, Billy Oporia scored a brace with Benson Amianda adding the other as current top scorer Stephen Owusu grabbed a late consolation for Ibrahim Shikanda’s charges from the spot.

Much has changed since then and Sunday’s fixture will sure be a mouthwatering clash with the winner dealing a psychological blow in this year’s hotly contested promotion race.
