NSL: Vihiga goes top as Palos, Ushuru win to rise

Vihiga United moved from second to hit pole as Ushuru and Palos moved to third and sixth, up from fifth and ninth, after wins from their matches played on Sunday 23 April. 

Also on the up was Administration Police who bamboozled visiting Agro Chemicals 4-0 for a four place uplift to fourth in the standings

AP got their four goals from Kevin Aimo, Aflred Chole, Benjamin Kahindi and a penalty from Humphrey Alemba.

At the Mumias Complex, a Patrick Okulo goal is all the hosts needed to outwit visiting Police while at the Moi Stadium Kisumu, Benedict Jacob netted the all important goal for Palos FC, as the Kisumu side went back to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Talanta FC.

Ushuru 3 Nakuru AllStars 1

Ushuru ended Nakuru AllStars five match unbeaten streak with a 3-1 hiding at Camp Toyoyo. The visitors took a fourth minute lead through Geoffrey Maina but that only worked as a teaser for the home team who tied the game at half time. Two further goals in the final 20 minutes handed the taxmen the win.

Lwamba Bebeto was the man of the moment after netting the winning goal to secure maximum points for his side.
