After a week's break Nzoia Sugar coach Bernard Mwalala is confident that his team will manage the upcoming busy Kenyan Premier League (KPL) schedule.

Commenting ahead of their weekend home match against fellow millers Chemelil Sugar, Mwalala cited that his team has resumed training and all his players are in perfect condition except for Peter Juma. He however added that the tight KPL fixtures affects all the teams, hence it is no cause for alarm.

Tight fixture

"We have resumed training in preparation for our home match against Chemelil. Other than Juma who is out with an injury the rest of the players are training well. We have a tight fixture, because after our game against Chemelil we will be in Nairobi for three matches in a week but we are ready for it because it affects all the teams in the league not just us. We are in good form and I hope we maintain it," Mwalala said.

The Bungoma side has registered two home wins with the latest one being a 1-0 win against Posta Rangers. They will be hoping to extend their superb run against Chemelil before taking on Sofapaka, Nakumatt and Gor Mahia respectively.
