Nzoia Sugar names squad for Gor Mahia clash

Nzoia Sugar head coach Bernard Mwalala has made two changes in is starting squad ahead of their league tie against Kenyan Premier League leaders Gor Mahia at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.

Skipper Vincent Ngesa is missing while Kevin Juma has dropped to the bench. Their gaps have been filled by Elvis Ronack and Luke Namanda. In the absence of Ngesa, Edgar Nzano has taken up the captaincy role. 

Nzano will lead the attack alongside KPL leading scorer Elvis Rupia. David Odhiambo and Luke Namanda will be on the flanks while Peter Gin and Stephen Wakhanya are in the central midfield.

The back four has the likes of  Festus Okiring, Hillary Wandera,  Brian Otieno and Elvis Ronack. Benson Mangala keeps his place in goal.

Nzoia Sugar were handed a 4-0 beating when they last played at the Moi Stadium Kisumu against Gor Mahia FC. The first league meeting saw Nzoia Sugar lose by a solitary goal as well as the first leg meeting in 2018.

The match will kick off at 3PM.
