Dennis Oliech will make his first start for Gor Mahia when Hassan Oktay’s charges take on Posta Rangers in a rescheduled Kenyan Premier League (KPL) tie on Wednesday 9 January at the Kasarani Stadium starting 4pm EAT.
Having made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Mathare United last time out as a second half substitute, Oliech has now been handed his first start for the club.
He comes in place for regular starter Jacques Tuyisenge who has dropped to the bench.
Captain Harun Shakava misses out altogether with Charles Momanyi coming in to partner Pascal Ogweno, who keeps his place in the squad after coming on against Mathare for the injured Joash Onyango.
Burundian Francis Mustafa also gets a start replacing Nicholas Kipkirui.
Midfielder Humphrey Mieno, who has been linked with a move away to Ethiopian giants St. George FC, settles for a place on the bench.
The defending champions currently lie in eighth place on the league standings with seven points, just a point above Rangers who are in 14th.
