Posta Rangers tactician Sammy Pamzo Omollo has praised his back four for a fine run in the Kenyan Premier League so far. The team edged Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday 22 April to extend their winning streak to three in a row.

Rangers are unbeaten in six matches having conceded just a goal scoring five, Omollo expressing delight in the Joackins Atudo and Luke Ochieng’ partnership at the back supported by Simon Mbugua and Titus Achesa on the right and left back.

Maximum points

“We have a solid back four which is doing a good job. Led by Atudo, they are able to cut off all threats from the opponent and I am really happy with them.

“If winning narrowly will continue giving us maximum points then let it be for the moment,” he said.

The mailmen sit top of the 18-team table with 14 points, one ahead of second placed AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia.

Sony Sugar

They visit Sony Sugar in round seven match on Wednesday 26 April.
