Kenyan midfielder Amos Ekhalie was in action on Saturday 14 April as Mariehamn suffered the second loss of the season after a 1-0 defeat to HJk in a Finnish league match staged at Wiklöf Holding Arena.

Double Loss

Ekhalie clocked 90 minutes in the clash which was decided by HJK’s Riku Riski goal at the 69th minute. The side had kicked off their league campaign with a 2-0 loss against Rops last weekend. Mariehamn is bottom on the log with no point.

In South Africa Masoud Juma missed Cape Town City’s  0-0 draw to Supersport United in a match played at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

Former AFC Leopards and Ugandan midfielder Allan Kateregga came off the bench but could not help the side overcome Supersport. The draw leaves Cape Town winless in the last five matches.

Supersport on the other hand are winless in the last four games and they will face Gor Mahia FC on Wednesday 18 for the return leg of the CAF Confederations Cup. The side lost to Gor Mahia by a solitary goal and will be seeking to overturn the result as they host the Kenyan Premier League defending Champions in South Africa.

In England Joshua Lelan Kemboi missed the English League two tie between Crawley Town and Coventry City. Conventry outwitted Crawley for a 2-1 win.

Crawley Town is now placed 13th on the league standings with 57 points from 53 matches
