After playing out to a 0-0 draw against Kakamega homeboyz in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) tie staged at the Kenyatta stadium in Machakos on Saturday 15 July; Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya has admitted that visitors Homeboyz were hard nuts to crack.

He however cited that he is satisfied with how his charges played in the match enjoying most if the possession, and a point was a better result in the game of few chances.

Satisfied

"I will say the first few minutes were tense moments because each team was trying to give its best, but towards the end had we been clinical in the final third maybe we could have gotten something. Homeboyz defended well and that's why we did not create very many chances. We kept the possession but sadly it can only be defined by the number of goals scored, but am satisfied with the point," he said.

The draw leaves Homeboyz at seventh position in the log, three points behind Sharks who are fifth on the table standing with 26 points.
