Kariobangi Sharks returned to winning ways after recording a 1-0 win over hosts Thika United at the Thika Sub County Stadium on Saturday 17 March. The lone goal was scored by Edward Manoah in the 79th minute, with the midfielder having come from the bench as a second half substitute.
After a scoreless first half midfielder Patilah Omoto was to turn the provider for Manoah who headed in a well floated free kick that was missed by the Thika keeper Kaleb Wafula.
Nzoia Sugar FC 2-1 Zoo Kericho
At the Sudi Stadium, Nzoia Sugar had to come from a goal down to record their second win of the season with Elvis Rupia scoring in stoppage time.
Nicholas Kipkirui had given the home side the lead in the 24th minute after being put through by Michael Madoya but Rupia restored parity minutes to the break. Rupia then provided the winner with what was virtually the last kick of the game to see Nzoia rise from the bottom of the log with six points from seven matches.
Vihiga United FC 0-1 Bandari FC
At the Mumias Complex, Vihiga United's first win in their debut season in the KPL continued proving elusive with David King'atua scoring Bandari's winning goal four minutes from time after coming from the bench.
