Sofapaka new acquisition keen to win titles at the club

Former Kariobangi Sharks midfielder Ibrahim Kitawi believes that he made the right choice to join Sofapaka FC and he is keen to help the side win trophies in the 2018 season.

The 28-year-old crossed over to the 2009 Kenya Premier League champions in the January 2018 window  signing a two year deal and has vowed to work harder to ensure Batoto Ba Mungu win titles.

“I made the right choice to join Sofapaka which is one of the most ambitious and illustrious clubs in the country. I’m here to help them win titles although the bottom line lies in working hard to achieve that,” Kitawi told Sofapaka official site.

Hard work 

“As I said before, working hard is paramount to all the Sofapaka players and the fans should just support us and the desired results shall come,” he added.

Kitawi who has vast experience having played for Bandari and Nakumatt FC joined Sofapaka alongside fellow midfielder Elly Asieche. Sofapaka FC have already signed seven players in the transfer window.

They will be seeking to better last season performance where they finished second behind Gor Mahia FC.
