After parting ways with Kenyan Premier League (KPL) defending Champions Tusker FC, utility man Osborne Monday is on the verge of completing a deal with Kenyan Premier League (KPL) newbies Kariobangi Sharks.
Monday has been spotted training with the William Muluya-coached side for the past week and according to a source in the Sharks camp, he should put pen to paper in the coming weeks.
"He has been training with them (Kariobangi Sharks) for the past week and the coach feels his KPL experience is something that will be helpful to the team. He has not signed anything yet but a deal should be completed in the coming days," the source told Soka.
The ex Mathare United player refused to ink a new deal with the Brewers ahead of the new season despite being a key member in their squad that won a double in the 2016 season.
Should he pen a deal with Sharks, Monday will become the latest player to join the side after that of Mike Isabwa Misigo from Vihiga United, among others.
