Tusker FC have confirmed the acquisition of Kevin Ade Omondi from Gor Mahia with the midfielder penning a two year deal with the Brewers.
Tusker's transfer business this window shows the 11 time KPL champions are planning a title onslaught in 2018-19 and break Gor's dominance in the local scene.
The news was confirmed on the club's social media platforms with Omondi delighted to have made the switch as he feels his quality as well as that of his new teammates will help in his settling in.
He said, "This is a new challenge and I am ready for it. Its going to be easy since Tusker has good players and I am going to add quality to the team. Looking forward to a great season."
The left footed attacking midfielder ends his second stint at Gor having claimed one league title in 2018 taking his title tally to two as he also claimed the 2013 crown.
After shinning at the 2010 secondary school ball games, Ade a graduate of the FISA Academy, has played for Sofapaka and second tier side Kenya Police locally and with South African side Moroka Swallows in his only stint abroad.
He joins Mike Madoya, Billy Oporia, Hillary Wandera, Amani Muzerwa, Sammy Mejja, Rodgers Aloro, Clyde Senaji, Emery Mvuyekure and Nashon Alembi as the new faces at the Robert Matano coached side.
