Ulinzi Stars will have to do without the services of three players when they take on Sony Sugar in round seven of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) at Awendo Green Stadium on Sunday 13 January.

Info on the club portal reveals that defenders Hassan Mohammed and Brian Birgen and winger Omar Boraafya have been ruled out of the contest, with the game coming too soon for the injured trio.

Recovery

Boraafya is nearing full recovery after being out with a thigh strain sustained in training after the opening game of the season with Birgen having resumed training after sustaining an ankle injury in the club’s training in the run up to the Sofapaka game.

Defender Mohamed has been out since suffering a thigh muscle injury in the loss to Nzoia Sugar FC a fortnight ago.
