Kenyan Premier League (KPL) newcomers Vihiga United will on Monday 22 January unveil the team's latest acquisitions in the transfer window and new staff in the technical bench ahead of the new 2018 season.
The ceremony will take place at Kidundu Stadium starting noon and will also feature the team's new kit launch.
Among those to be unveiled is striker Michael Isabwa who has returned to the club after a lackluster season with Kariobangi Sharks.
Isabwa was a key member in the team but left in 2016 after they failed to seal qualification to the KPL. He left as the team's top scorer that season after finding the back of the net 14 times as the Edward Manoah led side finished sixth and outside the promotion spots.
On his return, he is expected to fight it out for a starting berth with Amos Kigadi, Chris Masinza and veteran Charles Okwemba.
The team is currently in Nakuru where it has lined up pre-season friendly matches against National Super League (NSL) sides Nakuru AllStars and St. Joseph's Youth as well as National Division One sides Nakuru Geothermal and Comply FC.
Earlier in the month the Vihiga County funded side announced that it had released 12 players as it aimed to bolster its squad in readiness for the rigorous topflight campaign. Among those released were former AFC Leopards midfielder Martin Imbalambala as well as defender Gideon Abucheri and Ugandan forward Rashid Kyambadde.
