Wazito FC head coach Ahmed Dmchulla has urged his side to be more clinical in front of goal after Friday 11th January 2-0 win over Eldoret Youth FC in a National Super League (NSL) match at Camp Toyoyo Grounds.

The former Kenyan Premier League side threw away some good chances in the first half with David Orem being the main culprit. They however managed to pick maximum points from the match courtesy of goals from Orem and Kennedy Ayako in the second stanza to keep pace with league leaders Ushuru FC.

In an interview, Ahmed said his players have to keep their composure in front of goal noting that they threw away some good chances.

"We need to be more calm clinical in front of goal, in the first half half we lacked that killer instinct. The difference in football is in the box, if you get your chances in the box you should convert if you don't you end up getting punished. Today I am happy with the three points but we have to keep improving, we have to keep working hard," he said.

Big squad

Wazito have been very active during the transfer window and boasts of a large quality squad a 'headache' Ahmed says is good for the team.

" I have a big squad, it's a headache but it's also good for me because it ensures that we have competition in the team. Players have to work hard to convince me that they deserve to play. It also helps to ensure that the team remains fresh through squad rotation, we have many games to play and I believe each and every player has a part to play," he added.

Wazito is second in the NSL with 18 points, one behind leaders Ushuru.
