Wazito picks a point at Tusker as Nakumatt whitewashes Homeboyz

Tusker FC failed to complete a double over Wazito after a 1-1 draw in a Kenyan Premier League match staged at Ruaraka Grounds on Sunday 17 June.

Wazito FC came to this clash seeking to bring to an end a six match losing streak. Their midweek clash against Gor Mahia FC in Kisumu saw the side suffer a 4-0 loss. Frank Ouna's charges managed to get a point after 90 minutes.

Otieno's strike 

The side which earned promotion at the start of the season managed to hold Tusker FC to a goalless draw in the first stanza.In the final half, The Brewers  however got on the scoresheet thanks to Timothy Otieno's strike in 49th  minute.

Tusker FC held on the lead till the final minute of play. Defender Justin Omary scored in his own net, a goal that saw Wazito FC avoid the seven straight loss.

Toyoyo

In an early kick off clash staged at Camp Toyoyo,   Kakamega Homeboyz were handed a 6-1 defeat by Nakumatt FC.

Boniface Mukhekhe got the opening goal for Nakumatt FC while Kelvin Thairu  added the second. Cornelius Juma added a brace before Lucas Indeche and Tom Adwar scored the final goals.

Ulinzi Stars played to a goalless draw against Bandari FC in a match staged at Afraha.
