Soccer Sisters registered a 2-2 draw against newly promoted Kayole Starlets in a Zone A Women Premier League (WPL) encounter; staged at the Jericho Camp Toyoyo Grounds on Saturday 22 April.
Zainab Khamis opened the scoring for Sisters in the 3rd minute but Kayole would restore parity four minutes later through a Hellen Akinyi strike. Rosemary Ndichu then put Sister back in the lead in the 43rd minute but Christine Mulusa had other ideas, leveling the scores in the 72nd minute to salvage a point for Kayole in the match.
The draw takes Kayole Starlets to four points after winning their opening match against Soccer Queens by a solitary goal, while Sisters registered their first point following a previous 3-1 loss in the hands of Mathare United Women.
Elsewhere in Naivasha, Oserian were awarded maximum points after their opponent Vihiga Leeds failed to turn up for the match. Leeds lost their opening encounter 0-2 to Wadadia FC while Oserian beat debutants Palos FC 3-0 in their last match.
