Women Premier League (WPL) side Gaspo Youth (Gatundu Sports) will tour Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and play two friendly games as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2019 WPL season that is set to kick off on Sunday 24 February.

The club confirmed through its social media pages that it will play exhibition games against JKT Queens and Simba Queens of the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League from the fourth of next month.

A tweet from the club read:

Well, as we await the new KWPL season, it's now official that we will be traveling to Dar es Salaam on the fourth of February, where we will play two friendlies against TWPL sides, JKT Queens and Simba Queens... This is in line with our preseason preparations.

Gaspo finished the 2018 season in fifth place with 59 points, a whopping 21 points behind winners Vihiga United, and preparations to close that gap commenced almost immediately after the conclusion of the season in December with the club holding trials before the Christmas festivities.
